There will be a culinary water outage tomorrow, August 21st. We expect the outage to begin at 9:00am and end around 5:00pm. Sections of Cedar Hills Drive (between Oak Road East and Oak Road West) as well as some homes north of Cedar Hills Drive will be affected. Refer to the map below to view potential affected areas. Door notices were delivered to homes we expect to be impacted by the outage. However, please note that as work continues, the areas and conditions may change. Residents in the affected area should prepare for ZERO water between this time. This includes sinks, showers, toilets, etc. We recommend filling a sink or bathtub with water before hand in case of emergency. We understand this is a major inconvenience and we appreciate your patience. We will be working as fast as possible to complete this project. Thank you for your understanding!

In collaboration with our neighboring cities Alpine, American Fork, Draper, Highland, and Lehi, we have studied the potential creation of a new school district that would serve children in our communities. Over the past 45-day public comment period, we have collectively held over a dozen public meetings and heard from hundreds of residents. Join us on Tuesday, August 6 at 6 p.m. for a special public meeting at the Community Recreation Center. At this meeting, the City Council is scheduled to vote on whether to put the question of a new school district on the ballot for voters to decide this fall. This content is intended to present factual information only. For the perspectives of proponents and opponents of the proposed Central School District, please visit centralschooldistrict.org.

We are sad to report that last night Harvey Park was extensively damaged due to vandals who ignited fireworks in the playground. Due to the significant damage to the play structure, safety netting, support structures, and play surface, portions of the Harvey Park playground will be closed through the end of the summer or longer. American Fork Police and American Fork Fire Rescue are currently investigating this incident. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
