Now that snow has finally come, we kindly remind you that sledding on the golf course is not permitted. The hills may look inviting, but sledding can cause significant damage to the turf, especially during the freeze-thaw cycles. These damages take time and resources to repair, impacting the course’s playability in warmer months. Please help us maintain this community resource by enjoying sledding in designated areas instead. Thank you for your cooperation!

Safe Use of Your Fireplace

Fireplaces are a great amenity when they are properly used and maintained. Do not discard hot ashes from your fireplace into plastic trash cans. Ashes will stay hot and can insulate themselves well after the flames have been extinguished. Make sure ashes are kept in metal cans away from other trash and have been completely cooled before disposing of them.

Sub for Santa

Share the joy of the holidays by sponsoring a family! Sponsoring a family provides the opportunity to select a family in need, contact the family, shop for each family member, and deliver the gifts directly to the family.

Currently, more than 2,600 families (7,200+ children) have signed up for Sub for Santa, but they still need over 400 sponsors, with only 10 days until Christmas. Every sponsor makes a direct and immediate difference in the lives of local children. Last year alone, more than 133 families in the Pleasant Grove and Cedar Hills communities received support through this program! Your generosity can give local children hope this season. For more information, visit https://unitedwayuc.org/get-involved/sub-for-santa/
